I think the thing I most like about traveling is that it does offer the occasional oddball experience that you'll never forget and have told to others a zillion times. Early on in out love affair w/ Mexico, we went to Isla Mujeres off Cancun's mainland. Please forgive me for this shameless self-promotion, but it is one of the funnier stories in my satchel of traveler tales. Don't apologize at all, Jeanine. Good stories must be shared with my readers. I am planing to write about these stories too. In Montevideo I was invited to a party with local people by a couple I was talking in the beer line. It was a unforgetable day.

Yeah, I see some people traveling with a script for each day of the trip, and I got "c'mon". As a brazilian singer says: "And let life take me/ (Life takes me!)"
